Kim Allman is a strategist and leader with over two decades of experience developing programs that improve socioeconomic mobility and wealth for underserved populations. She has spent her career leveraging her skills in strategy, operations and leadership to deliver social impact solutions and results.
Kim is the Co-Founder, Co-CEO and Strategy Lead at Mindshift Designs, a consultancy that uses the science of human behavior to help banks, fintechs, governments, and non-profits create impactful financial health products and programs.
She is also the Principal at The Allman Group, a social impact consultancy that collaborates with organizations to provide support in the areas of strategy, operations, leadership and problem-solving.
Kim is a founding leader of Capital One’s community development financial well-being program, where she led the largest philanthropic program at Capital One and provided advisory support and expertise to community partners and lines of business in the area of financial health.
Kim has also worked with non-profits of all sizes to build and implement innovative and impactful financial health programs nationwide. She served as Executive Director at Abode Alliance, formerly known as New York Mortgage Coalition, a nonprofit that helps low to moderate-income New Yorkers achieve and maintain homeownership and financial stability.
Kim previously ran her own financial planning firm and began her career as a funds attorney, advising clients on investment products at Sidley Austin LLP.
Kim has a bachelor’s degree from Duke University, a JD from Cornell University Law School, and holds a certificate in financial planning from Boston University.
